Autumn 2021 has officially begun, but that doesn’t mean your camping and caravanning must come to an end. Today we bring you some of the most beautiful caravanning pitches that you just have to visit as we welcome in this colourful and cosy time of year.

With so many of us choosing a staycation this year, UK campsites have seen a large increase in visitors and bookings, so make sure to get in there quick if anywhere takes your fancy! Without further ado, let’s get to our top caravan destinations this Autumn.


Tehidy Holiday Park


Our West-most caravan park can be found in the peaceful wooded valley of Tehidy, Cornwall. Tehidy is situated midway between the stunning towns of St Ives and St Agnes, with easy access to all of the main attractions in Cornwall.

There are a variety of cycle routes and walks right on the park's doorstep as well as historic sites and gardens just a short distance away. The surrounding woods make a spectacular walk this time of year as the leaves begin to turn from deep green to vibrant oranges and reds.

Tehidy Holiday Park makes a great destination for the whole family with facilities to accommodate all ages. The well-equipped site has free Wi-Fi throughout, a children’s play area, shop, games room, a launderette, and a reception area. There is also disabled access to facilities throughout the site. Each pitch will also have access to picnic benches, BBQ areas, and clothes dryers.

Back Of Beyond Caravan Park

This incredibly tranquil caravan park set in east Devon will get you fully immersed in nature. Is there anything better than waking up to the sound of birds singing and the leaves rustling? This campsite is surrounded by 18 acres of untouched woodland and expansive lakes just waiting to be explored.

Caravanning is all about unwinding and getting away from the hustle and bustle of modern life, and there aren’t many places that can do this better than Back of Beyond. This sustainably run caravan park puts a serious focus on providing habitats for many wildlife species, which you’re sure to appreciate as you make your way around the grounds.

Being close to the New Forest National Park there are some breathtaking walks and cycle routes to discover. The surrounding area is soaked in history with plenty of landmarks and points of interest for you to see. Bournemouth beach is just a short distance away or why not travel inland towards Dorset to soak in the stunning scenery.

This is an adult-only caravanning park, but benefits from being dog friendly – and even has a shower for your pets! Other facilities include a shop, outdoor bar, communal BBQ area, two fishing lakes, shower and toilet block, plus lots more.

Old Oaks Touring Park is another adults-only site that offers caravanning pitches and camping or glamping areas. This beautiful caravan park is only a short distance from the town of Glastonbury, well-known for its historic roots.

This Park can be found in a beautiful countryside setting which promotes a completely relaxing stay. You have a choice of pitches available depending on your needs and your budget. Amenities at the site include a gift shop and other facilities, with superbly clean shower and toilet blocks as well as laundry services, microwaves, dishwashing areas, and even ice-pack freezers.

There are plenty of things to do around the touring park including peaceful walks, cycling routes, and a coarse-fishing lake with views of Glastonbury Tor. Pets are welcome on the site, with heated pet washing facilities available with free shampoo – perfect for those post-dog walk wash downs!

Glastonbury itself is most widely known for the music festival that is held there, but there is plenty to see and do all year round. The town has a history that dates back to Neolithic times, and buildings that date back to the 14th century – now the Somerset Rural Life Museum.

This pristine park is situated near the Norfolk coastline with beautifully landscaped gardens and wildflower banks providing a backdrop for your pitch. The surrounding area is littered with nature reserves which provide a relaxing walk area, with some fantastic bird watching opportunities.

At the centre of this park is a wildlife pond containing bream, carp, tench, and rudd – ideal for those who enjoy fishing. The area around the park is full of historic architecture and points of interest, including stately homes such as Sandringham, Houghton Hall, Holkham Hall, and Blickling Hall. They make a great day out for the whole family to enjoy.

Why not take a trip back in time and visit the North Norfolk Railway’s Poppy Line ( ). This is an experience that is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face. This line can take you to the market town of Holt where you will find quirky shops and cafes.

The caravan park has a great range of facilities and amenities to make your stay here as enjoyable and as easy as possible. These include four fully heated shower and toilet blocks, a restaurant/bar, and a shop where you must try the freshly baked bread and pastries every morning.

Myrus Caravan Park


Myrus Caravan Park can be found in Aberdeenshire in Scotland, this fully-equipped park has everything you need for a fantastic and relaxing getaway including electric hook ups, water, sewage, and TV connection facilities for both motorhome and caravan pitches. Holiday homes can also be rented at this park.

The touring caravan area of this site is reserved for adults only, making a very peaceful retreat for all of its visitors. It includes a heated toilet block with disabled access, as well as a spacious laundry area.

There is no shortage of things to do and see at this park, being only a mile inland from the town of Banff. A seven-arch bridge crosses the River Deveron which separates this town from the village of Macduff – making a great walk from the caravan park. There is also very easy access to the coast where you have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of water sports and sea fishing.

If golf is of interest to you, why not visit Duff House Royal or Royal Tarlair and their 18-hole courses. There is also a 13 bay driving range which is accessible by just a short walk and adjacent to the caravan park itself.
